Volunteer Connection
Foothills United Way is pleased to welcome Volunteer Connection to the United Way family!
Established in 1969 as a division of the United Way, Volunteer Connection was one of the first volunteer information and referral centers in the nation. Over the years, Volunteer Connection services have grown considerably and we now support over 250 nonprofit and government programs that rely heavily on volunteers to fulfill their missions. Foothills United Way’s Volunteer Connection is Boulder and Broomfield Counties' primary source for volunteer information.
On an annual basis, over 30,000 individuals including youth, adults, families, businesses, corporate and service or social groups utilize our resources to connect with community programs that need volunteers. In addition to providing resources to connect community members with community needs, we build capacity within our partner organizations by providing resources and professional development opportunities in volunteer management to ensure a positive volunteer experience for all.
