Reflecting on August's Wake Up with Foothills United Way

You are here

We had a large turnout for August's Wake Up with United Way. The event was hosted by Carlos Pacheco, board member, Doug Yeiser, CEO and president of Foothills United Way and Rosemary Thompson, Personal Investment Enterprise Coordinator. Carlos started the meeting by telling guests why he got inspired to get involved with Foothills United Way. Doug followed by informing guests about all of the exciting things Foothills United Way is doing in the community. Rosemary, the main speaker, gave guests some insight about the PIE program. The PIE program is designed to help working, low-income families and individuals save money exclusively for home ownership, post-secondary education, and small business. Attendees flooded Rosemary with questions about the program and were excited to hear that people were getting savings help. Guests left excited about the opportunities Foothills United Way creates for those in need. Don't miss the next Wake Up with Foothills United Way! Check out our website for upcoming dates.
