Foothills United Way Accepting Applications for Funding
Beginning Monday, January 9, 2012, Foothills United Way (FHUW) is accepting funding applications for the 2012-2015 funding cycle.
Health and human service related nonprofits that serve Boulder and Broomfield Counties are eligible to apply for funds within Foothills United Way’s Impact Areas. Interested agencies should contact Foothills United Way for additional information and access to the online funding application. The application is due March 2, 2012.
Foothills United Way Impact Areas:
--Community Basics: Helping people meet basic needs of people. Stabilizing lives with a safety net.
FHUW Outcome: People's basic need of food, shelter and safety are addressed.
--Education: Supporting learning and development of people so they become responsible, contributing members of the community.
FHUW Outcome: Children are prepared to succeed in school.
FHUW Outcome: Youth are prepared to succeed in the community.
--Income/Financial Stability: Increasing skills training for improved employability and economic self-sufficiency.
FHUW Outcome: People move toward financial independence.
--Health: People achieve optimal health through promoting wellness and health care access.
FHUW Outcome: People's health improves.
